I painted this autumn still life with chestnuts during the golden fall season when I was picking chestnuts in San Zeno di Montagna. I collected this autumn bouquet with white and yellow daisies and bright red-orange autumn leaves in our chestnut forest, put it in a ceramic vase and how can I not paint this beauty?
