Art contest “I’m Hero”

The meaning of the art contest “I am a Hero” is an invitation for artists to express their creativity, reveal their talent, to be heard during the months of quarantine, one of the most difficult moments of the Covid19. Contest has been organized by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Abano Terme, represented by Cristina Pollazzi.

The jury of the contest consisted of national journalists and advisor Christina Pollazzi. More than 200 artists took part in the online competition. The jury selected 40 artists to participate in the final national exhibition “Arte Eroica. Miti di ritrovata libertà”, curated by Federico Martinelli and Marilena Spataro. I was happy that my watercolor “Carnival in Venice” was chosen for this amazing national exhibition.

Exhibition “Arte Eroica. Miti di ritrovata libertà”, born of solidarity between the artists and the Villa Bassi Rathgeb Museum, is an emotional and exciting journey that tells about a person and his needs. All works of the authors, full of meaning and filled with positive, express a message of hope, desire to be serene and thinking about a better world, crystallize all the sensations, emotions and feelings that united us in this special historical period.

I show here some photos about my participation in the exhibition in Abano Terme
