Autumn Light Chestnut: I painted this watercolor composition during one of those quiet autumn moments when sunlight suddenly touches the forest floor and transforms ordinary details into something magical. The chestnut shell, scattered leaves, and climbing ivy felt alive against the cool shadowed background, creating a contrast between warmth and mystery that I wanted to preserve in watercolor. While working on this piece, I focused on rich transparent layers, glowing highlights, and textured brushstrokes to recreate the feeling of damp autumn air and soft evening light.
